Close to 10 million spectators all across the world!

Japanese entertainment in a phenomenal performance using traditional Japanese instruments, “Taiko drums”.
In 2016, their Off-Broadway shows in New York were completely sold out and an article in Newsweek stated,“The highly acclaimed debut of DRUM TAO in Broadway will represent not only Japanese entertainment but Japan itself”.
In 2020, they opened their new permanent outdoor theatre called "TAO no Oka", found amongst the magnificent views in the heart of Aso Kuju National Park.
In a recent project "CLUB TAO", which started in 2022, performances have been held in Tokyo and Osaka and appeared in the most popular nightclubs.
In 2023 alone, the three groups of DRUM TAO are set to perform in more than 600 performances all over Japan and the world.

NATIONAL PARK × ENTERTAINMENT

Pioneering Japanese drumming troupe DRUM TAO in collaboration with Aso Kuju National Park established the world's most unique "Theatre in the Sky" against the panorama of great natural beauty.
One of the 21st Century’s most stunning nature theatre was built here, Here you can enjoy various aspects of DRUM TAO, Japan's most spectacular taiko-drum entertainers.

2024 Season Starts on March 29th.

Open from every Friday to Monday, including national holidays
Live performance: Open 1:30pm/ Start 2:00pm ※Performance time:45 minutes

During the festival, our fans from all over the world, and TAO performers come together to share unforgettable time in the beautiful "Aso Kuju National Park".
