Full moon climbing higher in the sky, the Bamboo Forest fills with calm light and shines gloriously. Suddenly, invited by the whispering wind that blows through the forest, insects begin to sing and raccoons drum on their bellies, causing the tigers to wake up in surprise. As the Moon Princess starts dancing and playing her flute, it has come time for the Moonlight festival in the bamboo forest to begin.

Eight men stand aloof guarding the festival. Handing one sign to each of the men, Moonlight Princess draws eight characters to express her gratitude to Mother Nature and her wish to live in harmony with it. Now made swordsmen, the eight courageous men beat their wadaiko drums with vigor and great power, only to soon fly off to the night sky…
