Granted permission to build its home base amongst the majestic natural surroundings of the Aso-Kuju National Park, TAO’s home base, “Grandioso”, was established in 2000. It is here on the 40,000 square meters of land, with its 360 degrees of lush panoramic views that TAO’s members symbiotic lifestyle conversing with nature and allowing it to nurture their music began.
This beautiful home base has a live arena, open air arena, accommodation, and most well known is the Open Air Terrace where the “Sunrise Live” is performed. It also has a hot spring with a view of the Kuju Plateau and a sauna that artists boast of. Each year many people from around the world congregate here and are enthralled by TAO’s music and the beauty of the area as new sounds and harmonies continue to be created.
TAO activities began with artists sharing accommodation at TAO’s home base together and training their psyche through communication with nature. This year the beautiful home base was expanded. Besides a third training area, the “Akakabuto”, the member’s accommodation, studio, hot spring with sauna, theatre room, library and training gym, the living area was transformed from a claustrophobic shared living environment to a quality resort facility.
