“Adam, Jason & friends” Opening Act / 14 Aug 2009 TAO appeared on Adam Hills and Jason Byrne’s superlative double act show as a guest performer. TAO was introduced as a most outstanding artist in the festival and performed a piece form their show. The theater was filled with deafening cries of joy from the packed audiences.

Performance at West Parliament Square / 10 Aug 2009 A huge number of audiences on High Street, the most enjoyable street where you can meet various street performers, musicians, dancers and painters during the festival, were heated up by TAO’s vigorous drumbeats. TAO performers in their vivid red costumes appeared on the street just before the sunset. The square was filled up with excited audiences. TAO played three pieces from their show and aroused the audience to enthusiasm.

Press Photo call at Oloroso / 7 Aug 2009 15 photographers from main presses in the UK gathered at “Oloroso”, one of the finest restaurants in Edinburgh which has unrivalled rooftop location facing the great view of the Edinburgh Castle and the city of Edinburgh. Photographers trying to get the best shot of eleven samurai drummers in vivid red costumes took number of shots form different angles in different positions. TAO’s energetic performance under the beautiful blue sky of Edinburgh inspired those photographers and　appeared on a number of different national papers right after the photo call. Press Coverage>>

Appearance on GMTV / 6 Aug 2009 TAO performed a highlight of their show on GMTV, the national TV broadcasted throughout the UK. TAO’s energetic performance and eight other selected groups at the Edinburgh Castle, the symbol of Edinburgh, were broadcasted six times throughout the program form 6 to 9.30am. Assembly Gala Launce / 5 Aug 2009 Assembly has launched with a fantastic gala performance at Assembly Hall. A well-dressed big crowd of more than 800 people gathered at the symbolic building on the top of the hill. TAO celebrated the begging of the festival with their latest number. A packed cheering audience gave a gig and never stopped applause for TAO’s return after 4 years.
